DESCRIPTION
The supportive orthotic blank TRIactive Select OA is designed for non-surgical treatment of patients with medial or lateral osteoarthritis of the knee (varus or valgus osteoarthritis) and helps to relieve symptoms and reduce pain. After individual adjustment by the medical retailer, the custom foot orthosis has a correcting effect on existing axis misalignments and stabilizes the muscles and ligaments from the bottom up. This intervention improves the knee position and reduces one-sided wear in the joint gap.
Gait is also positively influenced. The supination or pronation wedge, integrated into the core of the foot orthosis, lifts the feet gently towards the lateral or medial side. This design helps to relieve the knee joint while protecting the ankle. The yellow jigsaw puzzle component marks the specific area of the TRIactive Select OA that has special properties for osteoarthritis patients. The comfortable orthotic blank requires little modification and fits in a wide range of shoes.
