DESCRIPTION
TRIactive OA provides relief and can reduce pain in cases of osteoarthritis of the knee joint. It was specially developed for patients with medial or lateral osteoarthritis. In order to reduce symptoms, the foot orthosis corrects axial misalignments and provides pressure relief for the joint. The knee joint is most commonly affected by medial osteoarthritis. With a pronation wedge as outer edge reinforcement, the foot orthosis can change the effect of ground reaction force on the knee and reduce the momentum of adduction. This relieves the osteoarthritic area of the joint. In addition, the foot orthosis features the one-of-a-kind PowerWave technology. The PowerWave base structure cushions shock loads while also supporting pronation and supination as well as guiding the heel.
A special synthetic core stabilizes the foot. The soft cushioning layer reduces pressure loads when the heel hits the ground. The comfortable foot orthosis fits in many shoes and is available with a pronation wedge or supination wedge depending on the required application. For an enhanced effect, it is recommended to combine the TRIactive OA with the GenuTrain OA knee orthosis.
